Kylie Jenner made headlines in June after a raw and revealing moment on her family’s Hulu reality show, where she opened up about the emotional burden of living under constant scrutiny. The 26-yearold Kylie Cosmetics mogul admitted that the relentless online criticism and public disapproval have profoundly impacted her.

According to a source speaking to Life & Style earlier this month, Jenner has long struggled with deep-seated insecurities “about her appearance,” stemming from her early years. These insecurities have driven her to undergo numerous plastic surgeries before turning 25. Despite the “many procedures,” the source noted, her feelings of inadequacy persist.

Kylie Jenner Is Reportedly 'Very Defensive' About Her Alleged Plastic Surgery Procedures And Is 'Second-Guessing' Them

The tipster recently dished to the outlet: "Kylie is extremely self-conscious about her appearance. She’s had deep insecurities about the way she looks since she was very young, which is the whole reason she’s had so much plastic surgery before the age of 25." They wend on, regarding the mom of two: "But unfortunately, no matter how many procedures she gets, her insecurities never seem to go away.”

During the aforementioned June 20th episode of The Kardashains, Jenner tearfully recounted the years of backlash she has received for her appearance, revealing the highs and lows of her life in the public eye. "Now, instead of fixating on what she wants to change about herself, she obsessively worries that she’s gone too far with the surgery and needs to get more to correct the mistakes," the insider continued.

While the Khy founder referred to herself as a "confident person," the source said that she is apparently "very defensive" about the procedures she has underwent. "She tried to act like she’s totally happy with how she looks, but behind closed doors she spends an agonizing amount of time second-guessing and worrying that she’s gone way too far," the source added.

They also told the publication that Jenner "reads the mean things people say about her online and it really gets to her to the point where it’s difficult for her to leave the house a lot of the time."

Jenner's appearance has been scrutinized since she was a young girl, ever since cameras started documenting her family's life on Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2007. In her teen years, Jenner garnered significant attention for enhancing her lips with fillers, creating a notably fuller look. On her famous family's new show, Jenner recently noted: "I went on a journey the last year dissolving half my lip filler."

She added: "I hate having this same conversation over and over and over again because it feels like a waste of my breath because I think, with me, it’s just never going to change." Jenner went on: "Even if I did have so much surgery and did all these things, I still don’t think it’s OK to talk about someone’s looks. People have been talking about my looks since I was 12, 13, before I even got lip filler."

However, the source reveals that Jenner remains relentless in her pursuit of getting work done. "She uses so many filters on her photos and videos, even after all the money she’s spent on surgery, because no matter how much she gets done, it’s never enough to alleviate this deep feeling that she just doesn’t measure up, which is why she keeps going back for more," they said.

Despite the emotional conversation about her appearance on the show, Jenner managed to maintain a positive outlook. "I think that I’m a really strong person and I was put in this position for a reason," Jenner reflected. "I do think of myself as a confident person. I’m so grateful, so blessed, that I can wake up and look in the mirror and like what I see and feel beautiful. But at the same time, there’s only so much one person can take."
