In a recent video, well–known content creator and makeup artist Gabriela Soares (@glamgirlgabi) demonstrated to her Instagram followers how to achieve an “instant facelift” using precise placement of concealer, contour, highlighter, and bronzer.

She captioned her October 18th video: “Makeup Facelift | How to contour your face for beginners. It’s the plastic surgery without the surgery part.” Soares also noted: “it’s easier than you think.”

In the video, Soares began by showcasing a side-by-side comparison of her face, initially without facelift makeup and then with it, highlighting the enhanced lift in her features. The makeup artist first applied a delicate brown eyeliner to her upper lid, extending it into a wing.

She then used concealer on the inner under-eye area and a bit under the eyeliner wing, blending it upwards toward her ear and hairline. Next, she applied concealer beneath the cheekbone and blended it seamlessly with a brush. She followed this by adding bronzer to the cheekbone and powder contour along the same area and the jawline.

Using two fingers as a guide next to her nose, she applied blush from the point closest to her hairline up to the hairline.

Highlighter was then added beneath the eyes and under the cheekbone, which had already been defined by the previous layers of concealer, bronzer, and contour. Soares concluded the video by once again displaying the before-and-after transformation, after demonstrating all the steps.
