Jennifer Lopez took the stage in Dubai last month, delivering a performance that captivated a packed house at the Coca-Cola Arena. The audience filled the venue to its maximum capacity.
As the evening unfolded, countless fans flocked to social media platforms to celebrate the “On the Floor” artist’s impressive choreography, vocals, and prowess as a performer.
However, amidst the widespread acclaim, a portion of TikTok users found themselves distracted by what they perceived as subpar hair extensions that the Atlas actress, 55, sported during the show.

Fans Can’t Stop Talking About Jennifer Lopez’s ‘Bad’ Hair Extensions During Her Abu Dhabi Concert
Beneath one clip from Lopez’s recent concert, one user wrote on the social platform: “did she put [in] her own extensions.?” Another added: “Bad hair extensions and outfit.”
An additional commenter replied: “The extension though omg,” as one other commented: “They are way too long and don’t look good. I know she wants them blowing in the fan, but it’s too much.”
During the performance, the “If You Had My Love” singer wore a glittering, sheer, rhinestone-encrusted catsuit layered over a form-fitting, darker bodysuit.
For her glam, she wore her signature caramel-colored tresses down, parted in the center and styled into a sleek blowout, although some fans claimed they could spot not-so-hidden extensions.
This also isn’t the first time that Lopez has made headlines thanks to hair extensions. Back in February 2024, as fans may remember, the Wedding Planner star was the featured musical guest during the February 4th episode of Saturday Night Live.
She headed to New York City’s Rockefeller Center to perform live renditions of newer tracks “Can’t Get Enough” and “This Is Me…Now.”
In a video posted on X (previously known as Twitter), the Maid in Manhattan alum effortlessly removes her hair extension and tosses it onto the stage, all while flawlessly continuing her dance routine.
Lopez has not responded to these fan comments regarding her hair extensions. Other users, however, praised her Dubai performance on TikTok.
One wrote: “She’s 55 people 55!!! How can you hate on someone who looks this good at 55 and still killing it!!!” Another replied: ” really think she is a great performer.”
