Is there anyone who doesn’t need their iPhones to last just a little bit longer during the day? Depending on how you use your phone and which apps you frequent, your may find your battery on its last leg hours before it’s time to go to bed at night. Considering how much you do with your phone, that’s just not a convenient way to keep going. It’s time to bring in a few good hacks courtesy of Apple experts who are in the know. iPhone experts say this one charging hack will make your battery last so much longer.

Turn On Low Power Mode

There are a few different hacks that will boost your battery power — and all are worthy of attention. But one that continually pops up on tech experts’ lists is to turn on low power mode. “It’s simple, go to Settings >Battery and select low power mode or you can add the shortcut in your control center and just swipe down from the right corner to turn it on,” says Theola Tinny, CEO at VinPit. “It will be hard to notice the difference but this feature turns off battery drainers like mail fetch, automatic downloads and certain visual effects. It also lowers your phone’s brightness.”

And reducing what your phone can do, especially if it’s a battery-consuming action like keeping the brightness up high, will automatically make a difference.

Here are a few more hacks that Tinny recommends.

Update To The Latest Software

“Apple software often includes advance energy saving technologies which helps in saving your battery,” Tinny reminds us.

Keep Apps Open

Everyone will ask you to close the apps once done to save the battery from draining but this is not true with iPhone, according to Tinny. “Force quitting an app in iPhone uses up more battery as all the codes are deleted when we close the app and the app will reload them when relaunched,” Tinny says.

Take Breaks From Charging

Both extreme states of always plugged in for charging and completely drained does harm to your battery life, Tinny says. Create a logical charging schedule that’s easy to follow and helps you avoid extremes when it comes to charging.
