Irina Shayk Wore Next To Nothing At Paris Fashion Week–Her Dress Is SO See-Through!
January 30, 2020 by Elizabeth Blasi
For those who eat, sleep, and breathe fashion, there’s no better time of year than Paris Fashion Week. Between the couture of powerhouse names like Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Hubert de Givenchy, and Yves Saint Laurent, the clothes and talent are expected to be fabulous and legendary.
However, this year, iconic name Jean Paul Gaultier announced that this runway would be his final one. One to encapsulate a 50 year career on the catwalk. We’ve come to learn that no one makes a grand exit quite like JPG.
On the runway were stars like: Gigi and Bella Hadid, Karli Kloss, and Jourdan Dunn. However, one of our favorite looks came from super model, Irina Shayk.
Her retro-inspired ensemble was a true throwback (as it was giving us severe Madonna vibes). This bodycon corset dress, complete with white outlines and beige fabric, gave the appearance that Shayk was wearing next to nothing on the catwalk… and we loved it!
This look (available to the public soon), was part of Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture collection of Spring/Summer 2020. In particular, it fell under his Chapter One of his showcase. It was suspected that JPG broke down his new collection and runway show to reflect his life work (of fifty years on the runway).
As we sincerely loved this look, we thought, why not try and replicate it on our very own catwalk (you don’t need to be Shayk to strut your stuff!). Check out a few inspired pieces below, and build out your dream runway:
