Though it’s been reported that Melania Trump plans to “stand by her man” in regards to former president Donald Trump‘s indictment, one family member has been conspicuously absent from the Trump patriarch’s side—eldest daughter and reported “Daddy’s favorite,” Ivanka Trump.
Ivanka, 41, will apparently “be staying far away from Daddy” as the case plays out, reports Page Six. The former Trump White House advisor and her family live in Miami, Florida, where Trump is expected to report to court this Tuesday, but it seems they will be avoiding the trial as much as possible, with Ivanka also stating that she won’t be playing a part in father Donald’s 2024 re-election campaign.

Source Says 'Ivanka Has Disappeared' Regarding Donald Trump's Indictment
Though she made a brief statement when Donald was indicted on charges stemming from the Stormy Daniels scandal—"I love my father and I love my country. Today, I am pained for both. I appreciate the voices across the political spectrum expressing support and concern."—Ivanka has not been seen around her father at any public events on his campaign or as a support figure in court.
A source told Page Six that Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner, also a former Trump advisor, "want nothing to do with this...Ivanka lost a lot of friends and her social scenes during [Trump's] presidency...They want to put it in the rearview. They want it behind them."
It may be hard to to so—it was recently revealed that a "female family member" talked to Trump's alleged accomplice and aide Walt Nauta about "not taking boxes on a place to Bedminster, New Jersey." The boxes in question are involved in Trump's second indictment, this time for allegedly mishandling classified documents. Many have speculated who that "female family member" could be, and if they're also liable as an accomplice.
Ivanka Continues To Distance Herself From Donald Trump
It seems Trump's former right-hand woman has not only distanced herself from her father publicly and politically, but also personally.
The Kushner family recently celebrated daughter Arabella's bat mitzvah, photos from which were shared to Ivanka's Instagram feed just yesterday. The 10-picture carousel post was captioned, "With an abundance of love and immense pride, Jared and I celebrated our daughter Arabella’s Bat Mitzvah this past weekend. We reflect on the weekend with full hearts and an abundance of joy and gratitude." Interestingly, Donald and Melania Trump are nowhere to be seen in images shared to the main feed:

However, buried 20 images deep within Ivanka's Instagram Stories from the event, a picture of Donald smiling in a picture with his granddaughter finally popped up. In the second to last photo in Ivanka's Instagram Stories, a message of gratitude was shared with Donald and Melania: "Thank you dad and Melania for arranging such a sweet celebration for Arabella!!" Some noted the apparent strangeness that the people who planned the bat mitzvah itself were seemingly "hidden" in limited-time Instagram Stories images rather than in the main post regarding the event, where even brothers Donald Jr. and Eric Trump and sister Tiffany Trump are pictured in a large family photo.
It's a big change from 2020, when even Donald Trump Jr. himself called Ivanka his father's "favorite" child in an interview with his father for his show Triggered.
