Jana Kramer has recently filed for divorce from Mike Caussin, making the heartbreaking announcement on her Instagram page. The couple has been open about their relationship struggles in the past in their joint podcast, “Whine Down.” Some of these struggles include Caussin’s history of cheating and a sex addiction.
Despite these challenges, the duo wrote a book about their commitment to keeping their marriage in tact, titled The Good Fight: Wanting to Leave, Choosing to Stay, and the Powerful Practice for Loving Faithfully. Kramer referenced the book in her statement, writing that she had “fought,” but it was time to move on.
"I've fought y'all. I've loved hard. I've forgiven. I've put the work in. I've given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give. 'It's time,'" Kramer wrote.
"Please know that I still believe wholeheartedly in marriage, love, and rebuilding," she added. "I just can't fight any longer. It's time to heal."
Kramer also thanked her followers and fans for their support during this time. "Thank you for all the love, heart, and support," she continued. "In many ways, you have fought on this journey alongside me, and for that I'm grateful."
"I'll always encourage you to continue the good fight, but you can't fight it alone," she wrote.
According to an Us Weekly insider, Kramer decided to divorce her husband after discovering he had cheated on her again. "Jana’s final straw came when she uncovered once again that [Mike] had cheated on her," the source explained.
