Jason Momoa was involved in a head-on collision with a motorcyclist near Calabasas, CA over the weekend and is reportedly uninjured. When the accident occurred, the Aquaman star, 42, was driving down a twisty part of Old Topanga Road in Topanga State Park on Sunday July 24, according to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ.
They indicated that a 21-year-old male biker was traveling in the opposite direction of the Game of Thrones actor and turning around a curve. During this maneuver, the unnamed motorcyclist allegedly crossed over the two yellow lines onto the side of the road Momoa was driving on, and crashed right into the “left front end” of Momoa’s 1970 Oldsmobile.

Officials noted that the motorcyclist was then ejected off of his bike and hit Momoa’s windshield. Luckily, the rider was able to avoid the hood of Momoa’s car and landed on his feet. California Highway Patrol later corroborated this information when speaking to Today.
They also explained that Momoa got out of his gold Oldsmobile 442 to help the motorcyclist and also asked a passing stranger to call 911. The news program reported that the biker was taken to a local hospital after with only minor and non-life threatening injuries. This included leg bruising and a thumb injury.

Another passing motorist captured video footage of the aftermath, which was obtained by TMZ. In the video, a man in an orange shirt and brown pants (who looks like a seemingly unharmed Momoa) is seen walking back towards his car. The motorcyclist (who isn’t seen in the video) is surrounded by medical paramedics and other bikers.
The exact cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Fans on Twitter and elsewhere on social media continue to express gratitude for Momoa’s and the biker’s safety and wishing them both well in the days following the incident.
