We’re always happy when we hear that longtime pals Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are hanging out, but it looks like their last trip together didn’t go as smoothly…
We just learned that the famous Friends were almost involved in a really scary plane accident. Here's everything we know so far:
Aniston and Cox were on a private plane together that had to make an emergency landing in Ontario, California after it lost a tire during takeoff. The actresses were headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to celebrate Aniston’s 50th birthday.
Cox recalled the experience in an interview with Extra, where she revealed that the incident left her feeling "really scared."
"I’m not afraid of flying at all … my dad was a pilot … but I was really scared because when we were taking off, we heard this really loud bang and I was like, ‘Oh, that sounds like we should probably check that tire,'” she said. “There was no tire at all, there was no wheel. Luckily, there are two wheels on each side and two in the front. I have to say, we were in the air for four hours, burning off fuel and just thought of what it is going to be like when we land … it was a really smooth landing.”
The A-listers were so shaken up that they even sent "I love you" texts to their loved ones.
"I sent a little text to [14-year-old daughter] Coco, ‘I love you,’ I didn’t say why, and to [boyfriend] Johnny [McDaid] … I told him everything that was going on and I FaceTimed him after," Cox added.
Thankfully, everyone's OK!
