According to a source for Closer, “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there. They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.”
The publication continued, “They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing. They were also spotted drinking wine, deep in conversation, as they walked around one of Jen’s favourite vineyards in Santa Barbara, where it was clear there was lots of chemistry between them.”
Sounds too good to be true? That’s because it is. Tragically enough for Friends superfans, Aniston and Schwimmer will not be living out the dynamic of Ross and Rachel in real life, with reps for the actor staunchly denying the rumors.
According to the British publication The Independent, Schwimmer’s reps say “there are no truths to the rumors of a romance,” and celebrity gossip site Deux Moi even wrote on social media, “Sorry, but this is not true,” under a tweet alleging the pair’s relationship status.
On top of it all, sources close to Aniston just revealed in the latest Us Weekly issue that the 52-year-old actress is still very much on the market and looking for love, with the source revealing, “Jen is way more impressed by guys who are unaffected and have their heads screwed on straight than the flashy, braggy types who are all over Hollywood. What she looks for above everything these days is kindness, humor and good looks, of course, but more than anything, she’s after chemistry.”
