Aniston, 56, and Pascal, 49 have a lot of mutual friends and have been platonic for year now—which is the case for many big names in Hollywood. When they were spotted chatting one-on-one after the dinner before going their separate ways, fans were quick to assume that there could be something more going on between them.
However, on Monday, Pascal cleared things up at the premiere of his HBO show, The Last of Us. "Jennifer and I are very good friends," he said to Entertainment Tonight. "And I got to have dinner [with her] on Saturday, and it was a fun martini dinner." Later on, he reiterated to E1 News that they were "just friends."
