Jennifer Garner Looks 'Unrecognizable' On The Cover Of 'Allure'
On the cover of Allure, Jennifer rocked a rose gold bixie wig—a cross between a bob and a pixie—to complement her sheer Miu Miu pale neon green naked dress. She paired the set with a light pink bra and white briefs. The sheerness of the dress perfectly showed off Jen's tight abs and toned legs. For accessories, Jennifer opted for silver drop earrings and a chunky ring. The actress went with more dramatic makeup than we usually see on her, complete with a heavy smokey eye, mascara, contour, and a bright pink lip.
The bixie wasn't the only head-turning wig that Jennifer wore for the cover. She also donned a blonde bowl cut and a short red lob (or long bob). Jennifer wore a bright yellow PVC trench coat by LaQuan Smith with the platinum blonde bowl cut, and a black cutout Michael Kors gown with her short, fiery red wig. Plus, for an Allure video segment, Jennifer wore a strawberry blonde wig, a sheer black dress, bright red nails, and striking makeup.
Jennifer has maintained her signature brunette hair over the years so her hairstylist of over 20 years, Adir Abergel told Allure that he knew wanted to transform her look with various wigs. "I immediately thought about the power of transformation and the idea of hair being your greatest accessory," he said. And, of course, every hairstyle looks flattering on the Juno actress!
The star's multiple wigs reminded fans of her character Sydney Bristow from the cult-classic show Alias, which aired on ABC for five seasons from 2001 to 2006. Jennifer starred as a shape-shifting spy who frequently switched up her hair looks.
In the Allure interview, Jennifer discussed parenting, religion, and her reputation. She also admitted that she hated being recognized out in public. "The problem is being recognized on a day where I'm not so nice or when I have blackness in my soul. I've definitely had days where I just can’t do it," she told Allure. "I scowl at people before they can walk up to me. I'm not perfect, and I don't think I'm rude, but I'm not good at being fake. I'm an open book of a person." Maybe she should try slipping into a disguise more often in real life.
Fan Comments
Obviously, Jenifer's comment section was in hysterics. Her dedicated fans, and even some fellow celebrities, sent their admiration on her Instagram. "Babe alert," Reese Witherspoon wrote in her comment with heart emojis. "Wowza!," wrote Eva Longoria. Tracee Ellis Ross commented, "I mean obsessed!"
Other fans commented, "Ate this up!" and "I almost didn't recognize you!" Some people pointed out how similar she looked to her Alias character, "It's giving Sydney Bristow," while another wrote, "Alias reboot is needed ASAP iconic." Jennifer's fans also commented, "Make Ben regret leaving you," and "JLO can't hold a candle to you," with a fire emoji, referencing her divorce from her ex-husband Ben Affleck who is now married to Jennifer Lopez.
