Jennifer Garner's Thoughts On Jennifer Lopez's New Album
"Jen thinks the whole thing is just cringe," an insider reportedly told Life & Style about the 54-year-old singer's new album, which goes into a lot of detail about her rekindled relationship with the Gone Girl actor.
"The kids don't need to hear about Ben 'climbing on top' of their stepmom and their 'bodies aligning.' It's embarrassing," the insider added.
The Hustlers star has unapologetically gone into a lot of detail about her and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor's relationship, and previously told USA Today: “What I want to say with this album is that true love does exist and some things are forever. They may not take a straight road, but they don't leave you. I made the most honest, true music I've ever done."
Some Of J-Lo's Lyrics Are 'Tough' For Jennifer Garner To Hear
Not only is the album filled with racy lyrics that might not be appropriate for children to hear – even more so when the people the songs are referencing are the children's parents and step-parents! – but the insider also hinted that it was somewhat disrespectful to the Alias actress, as it made a mockery of their marriage.
"Basically, this album is telling the world that the original Bennifer was meant to be," Life & Style's insider continued, adding: "On one track, Ben even utters, 'I love you, I always have,' which Jen took as a bit of a slap in the face. It's tough to hear."
Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years (between 2005 and 2015) and have three children together, so we understand how hearing the Air actor confirm that he and the JLo Beauty founder were always meant to be together would be hard for the Family Switch actress to hear.
