What Did Jennifer Garner Say About Ben Affleck's Alleged Affair With Their Nanny?
Gavin Rossdale wasn't the only A-lister to be plagued with nanny affair allegations, as Affleck was also accused of the same thing when he and Garner were married. However, the Peppermint actress shut those rumors down in a 2016 interview with People, claiming that the Air actor had only started seeing the nanny after they had split up.
"We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny," the Family Switch actress confessed, adding: "She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes."
Garner really opened up in her People interview, and also explained how she wanted to avoid the media circus following their split, telling the mag: "I just won't do it anymore. I took a silent oath with myself last summer." She went on to explain that her silence isn't because she doesn't care, it's actually the opposite. "It hurts me so much, and I care so much," she shared.

The Adam Project actress didn't seem to have any regrets about her marriage to the actor, despite their divorce, and confirmed: "I didn't marry the big fat movie star; I married him. And I would go back and remake that decision."
She went on to say that the Hypnotic actor will always have a special place in her heart, which is something that we now know to be true given how much she has been there for him during his marriage to the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer.
Garner said: "He's the love of my life. What am I going to do about that? He's the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He's just a complicated guy."
The Yes Day star also added: "We still have to help each other get through this. He's still the only person who really knows the truth about things. And I'm still the only person that knows some of his truths."
