Garner spoke about her daughter's current schooling situation during an interview with Dr. Aliza Pressman on the Dear Media podcast Raising Good Humans.
The 48-year-old explained, "I have one starting high school and of course for her she's in a really, she's taking an incredibly tough load of classes."
With that in mind, Garner, who shares her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck, is hoping to provide a structured school environment to help Violet adjust, especially considering she will not be able to attend school with her friends.
Garner explained, "And I just want to support that for her. And I feel like the transition into school for her feels almost unfair because I know she's going into the real crunch of a year, but without the anticipation of being with her classmates and being, you know, and just going to school on the first day."
The actress explained how she was handling the situation as a parent, emphasizing the importance of healthy boundaries.
She told Pressman, "So I just want to help her shift gears in a healthy way. And also to set the boundaries that I would set if she had an early bus ride or whatever, that she does have to go to bed."
The actress also spoke about homeschooling during an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest.
"Homeschooling is about to start up here; ready to go! We have everyone’s work place laid out. Anything you can do--we have snacks laid up … I think it’s going to be hard to get back in to the mindset without actually going to school, but we’re gonna do it," she told him.
Although it seems like Jen definitely has a homeschooling plan, Affleck has stayed quiet on the subject--at least so far.
