Jennifer Garner has just sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted on social media wearing an enormous diamond ring on *that* finger. Does this mean that she and boyfriend John Miller, who have been quietly dating on and off for almost three years, are officially engaged? The 49-year-old actress first debuted the blinding rock during an Instagram Live with her 13 Going On 30 co-star Judy Greer on Tuesday November 2nd, when she made no attempts to hide the gargantuan sparkler – which featured an intricate halo design – while she was casually sipping on her coffee. So what do we know about Garner's relationship with her rumored fiancé? According to reports, Jen started seeing the 43-year-old CEO of Cali Group shortly after she and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor got divorced in 2018, after being married for ten years. Their relationship was officially confirmed in October 2018, with many sources claiming that they had been together for about six months before announcing it to the world.
Despite things seemingly going well, the couple called it quits in August last year, with a source telling US Weekly at the time that they were on different pages, as Miller, who shares two children with ex-wife Caroline Campbell, "was ready for marriage" but Garner "just couldn’t commit." However, fast forward to May of this year, and the couple seemed to rekindle their romance – which is coincidentally around the same time her ex-husband got back together with J.Lo – and were spotted out and about together on several occasions.
We would like to point out that, annoyingly, no one in the Elektra star's camp has addressed let alone confirmed the engagement rumors, and her ex-husband has kept extremely tight-lipped too. But despite receiving no official confirmation about the proposal (at the time of writing) many close friends of the couple predicted that an engagement was imminent just last month, which tells us quite a lot! "Jen and John are serious," an insider reportedly told US Weekly last month.
"They are totally set on a long-term future together. They’ve taken their time to get this committed," the insider continued. They also went on to say that Miller is unlike anyone Garner has ever dated (is that a dig at Affleck?!) and from what they can see, she has never been happier! "It’s hard to remember Jen being this happy, and she definitely feels safe and secure with John, who’s unlike anyone else she’s ever dated," said the insider, as per US Weekly. "He’s hugely successful in his own right, of course, and she loves his mature and measured take on life. Being with someone as down-to-earth and calm as John is exactly what Jen needed in a partner." We need engagement confirmation ASAP!
