There’s no question that Jennifer Garner is a natural beauty, but the A-lister proved it again on Instagram with a completely makeup free selfie. Although Garner typically prefers a more subtle makeup look, we’ve never seen her completely barefaced. And no surprise: she looks stunning.
The actress usually keeps her makeup minimalistic, relying only on mascara and blush to enhance her natural features. She told People in 2019, “I’m the happiest and most comfortable when I just look like myself. The less makeup I have to wear, and the more of my own skin that I can see, the happier I am.”
Although we are used to seeing a more laidback version of the A-lister, we were still surprised to see this completely makeup free photo--but not at all shocked by how great she looks!

The 48-year-old looked completely gorgeous in her beachside photo.
Although going without makeup is not completely new territory for celebs (or for Garner), we still love just how natural and young she looks.
The actress credits her amazing skin to both a great skincare routine and healthy diet, but the one product she cannot live without is sunscreen.
She told Women's Health, "I always say there is nothing more important than sunscreen. No matter what, as soon as you brush your teeth, even if you think you're not going anywhere, you still have to put it on. You have to make it a part of your routine. That is how you get to look like you are 30-something. Nothing looks better in your 50s than sunscreen in your 20s."
Garner's photo is definitely proof that commitment to sunscreen pays off--and that's just one of the things the actress has to be thankful for.
She captioned her photo with a message of gratitude: "Thank you for the gifts and lessons of this summer. God bless teachers, faculty and administrators as they guide us through this big question mark of a school year. Bless the parents trying to make it all work. And the children who are learning to make the best of things in ways we couldn’t have predicted. Help us remember we hold each other in our hands. And please God, preserve our collective sense of humor. Amen."
Fans were quick to echo her message and compliment her natural look.
