All eyes were on Jennifer Garner at the ‘Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles’ Gala on Thursday, November 10th, as not only did she walk the red carpet in a dreamy cream-colored short suit that showed off her seemingly endless pins (seriously, we are obsessed with her legs!) but she also unveiled a surprising shorter haircut that predictably sent the internet into a frenzy!
Jennifer Garner Debuts New Short Hair At Los Angeles Gala
The 50-year-old 13 Going on 30 actress looked incredible on the red carpet, wearing cream shorts, a chic cream blazer, and a simple white top tucked into the shorts, finished off with some tan heels that elongated her legs even more!
But it was her short, effortlessly tousled, shoulder-grazing haircut that got the most attention, as the mom-of-three switched up her signature long brunette hair for a much shorter style for the winter season – which included some extra honey hues woven through it – and we are totally obsessed with her bouncy, textured 'do! We don’t know if it's the new lob, or the leg-revealing outfit, or even her dewy glowy makeup, or a mix of all three, but she definitely looks like she's aging in reverse!

Recreating Jennifer Garner's Lob
It looks like the Elektra actress knew that the haircut had a big part to play in her age-defying appearance, and would therefore be something that her fans would be quick to try out for themselves, which is why she helpfully posted some tips about styling it on her Instagram account a few days later. Why can't all celebs be this helpful when it comes to stealing their styles?!
According to Jennifer's Instagram video, which she shared on November 14th and has since garnered over 6M views, her new 'do was the work of her longtime hairstylist and Virtue Labs Creative Director Adir Abergel, who also helped her learn how to style it moving forward.

"I have short hair, which means a new way to do my short hair," the Yes Day star says in the video of her new hair styling routine, before going on to use products from Virtue Labs, a brand for which she is a partner. Jennifer's hair styling routine consists of her starting off with the One for All 6-in-1 Styler Cream, which she says "brings out natural texture" when she scrunches it into damp hair and then dries it with the diffuser attachment on the hairdryer.
She then adds some of the brand's Texturizing Spray, which is a dry shampoo and hairspray all in one, which she says also adds volume, and then finishes off with a few drops of the nourishing Healing Oil to finish. We think we might be ready to take on a short style thanks to these very handy tips and having Jennifer as age-defying inspiration!
