The stylish appearance of Jennifer Lawrence at Paris Fashion Week caused a frenzy on social media after several photographs of the Oscar winner surfaced online. The No Hard Feelings actress, 33, attended Dior’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 show on September 26th, dressed in a sophisticated white button-down shirt and a chic black maxi skirt.
However, it was not her fashion choices that stole the show in fans’ eyes, but rather her supposed “altered” facial features. Rumors of plastic surgery quickly spread like wildfire across various social media platforms, with X (formerly Twitter) being the epicenter of it all.
Did Jennifer Lawrence Recently Go Under The Knife? Some Fans Think So
Some users claimed that Lawrence had undergone a nose job and upper blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure that involves the removal of excess skin from the upper eyelid. The online community was abuzz with discussions and debates about her latest look, with other fans coming to her defense, citing the "natural aging process" as the reason for any changes to her appearance.
"What happened to her face?" asked one user on X while another added: "No way this is Jennifer Lawrence." Someone else deemed her look at the event to be "unrecognizable" as one other chimed in: "her whole face is about to explode from the fillers and botox."
Others, however, weren't convinced that the Silver Linings Playbook alum went under the knife recently. Many brought up the fact that Lawrence welcomed her son, Cy (whom she shares with husband Cooke Maroney) in February 2022.
"Didn't she recently have a baby? It's possible she's just carrying baby weight in her face in these photos," one wrote as another agreed: "Her face just looks swollen. I don't think this is a surgical or injectable procedure."
Someone else alleged that she might have looked "different" due to her makeup look. For the show, Lawrence wore her long, blonde tresses down, parted in the center and styled into elegant loose waves. As for her makeup look, the Don't Look Up star went for black liner, shimmering copper eyeshadow, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a glossy, plump pink pout.
"I love how Jennifer Lawrence used a little too much lip liner and now there's posts saying her cosmetic surgeon should die," one fan wrote. They added: "In reality ppl are just fishing for an excuse to put down women and if they have plastic surgery it's justified."
Another noted that Lawrence "always looks beautiful" no matter what, and we have to agree!
