Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez ended their 2 year engagement in March with Lopez shortly thereafter reuniting with her longtime ex Ben Affleck. Since then, the pair have put on a loved up display proving that they only have eyes for each other–particularly at Lopez’s birthday celebration this past week. Enjoying the sun on a yacht in the French Riviera, Affleck and Lopez made out for everyone to see as her birthday weekend went on. However, sources have revealed that Rodriguez was a mere several miles away from the pair throughout the weekend, also spending time in the Riviera, and it may not have been a coincidence.

A source recently revealed to E! that “before they broke up, J.Lo and A-Rod had planned a trip together to the French Riviera for her birthday. Ultimately, he decided not to change his plans and still go—and she also decided to keep her trip but go with Ben, which is why they’re all there right now.”
However, Lopez seemed to be unbothered by the presence of her ex just miles away, packing on the PDA with Affleck as they soaked in the good weather for her 52nd birthday. Lopez even took to social media to show off her flourishing romance, posting a carousel of images from her birthday, with the last picture being of her and Affleck engaging in a passionate kiss.
Another source told E!, “They held hands, they hugged each other close and they kissed. They sailed around from Monaco and went to St. Tropez. Ben and J.Lo spent time laying out on the top deck and making out. They couldn't get enough of each other."
A Rod also took to social media to share images from his trip, posting a picture grinning on the deck of a boat which he captioned, “Let the festivities begin.” Evidently the 46-year-old former baseball star is unbothered by his ex’s birthday celebration, enjoying the weather on his own.
The couple were said to have ended their relationship amicably, sharing a joint statement at the time which read, “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
