Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez‘s wedding plans have been put on hold as a result of coronavirus. The couple originally planned to celebrate their wedding in Italy in June 2020.

They delayed and replanned the wedding for later in the year only to cancel it again, and now Lopez has admitted that there’s “no rush” for the two of them to head down the aisle. In fact, the two have even began questioning if they need the wedding at all. According to Lopez, a wedding is “maybe still important” to them, which definitely sounds like she’s unsure.

During an interview with Andy Cohen, the "Radio Andy" host asked whether J.Lo and A-Rod had considered following in the footsteps of another famous A-lister couple: Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russel.

Hawn and Russel have been together for over 30 years though they have never married. Surprisingly, Lopez admitted that they had thought about it.

She told Cohen, "We've talked about that for sure."

"At our age, we've both been married before, it's like, do we get married? Do we not? What does it mean for us?" she added.

And it doesn't sound like Lopez is ready to take that option completely off the table--at least not yet. She continued, "It comes down to personal, what do you want to do? There's definitely no rush though."

Lopez also admitted that it wasn't easy dealing with the disappointment of canceling a wedding, despite the legitimate reasons behind it.

"It was really sad, because we were supposed to get married in June and we had planned it all. So in March or April, we’re looking down the pipe and we’re going, 'This is maybe not going to happen.' Italy’s the worst place in the world [for COVID-19]. And we were going to get married in Italy," she said. "It was, yeah, it was like, I was like, ‘Okay, we got to cancel everything.'"

She added, "We canceled it, and then we tried to regroup for later in the year, a few months ago, but nope, it still wasn’t the right time.”

With that in mind, Lopez has adopted a much more lax approach to their future wedding.

She said, "You just think to yourself, ‘Well, things will happen in their divine time in a way.' But the same thing with, like, the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think, 'Do you have to, should we?' It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it. And I think it’s something that maybe is still important to us, but there’s no rush, you know? There’s no rush. It’ll happen when it happens."
