Jennifer Lopez is making headlines once again – only this time, it has nothing to do with her “rude” and “arrogant” behavior at the Met Gala, and everything to do with her marriage!
J-Lo and Ben Affleck are currently facing divorce rumors after less than two years of marriage, and are reportedly living very separate lives. Eyebrows were somewhat raised at the Met Gala earlier this month, as the 51-year-old Gone Girl actor failed to attend, despite his wife being one of the co-chairs of the event. Although he said he had a good excuse – he was reportedly filming The Accountant 2 – not everyone was buying it!
Are Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Headed For Divorce?
If we are to believe one insider, the Tender Bar actor has already moved out from the home he and the Marry Me actress share together. "The writing is on the wall – it's over," the insider reportedly told In Touch, adding: "They're headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben's] not to blame!"
"Ben already moved out and they'll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for," the insider continued. "They'll never stop loving each other, but she can't control him, and he can't change her. There's no way it could have lasted."
Jennifer Lopez's Solo Met Gala Appearance 'Shocked' Fans
Many fans won't be shocked to hear the rumors that the "On The Floor" singer and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor could be splitting. Not only does Affleck still seem to have a strong relationship with ex Jennifer Garner, who is the mother of his three children, but he and Lopez are regularly pictured looking miserable and arguing in public, which doesn't scream 'happy marriage.' And J-Lo's solo appearance at the Met Gala didn't help either…
"Ben not being at the Met Gala with Jen, even though he's got a great excuse, he's working, is causing more questions than either of them want," a source told In Touch. "Even the red carpet fashion commentators were confused, thinking Ben would be right behind Jen, but nope, she went solo, which shocked a lot of people."
