Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck back in August, but perhaps she doesn’t quite understand that once you’re divorced, you don’t spent Christmas together. According to insiders, JLo has been trying her best to get her ex-husband to spend time with her around the holidays—for the sake of their “blended family”, she says—while Ben Affleck seemingly would rather spend time with Jennifer Garner and the kids they share together.

JLo Wants Ben For The Holidays
Jennifer Lopez shares two children with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, 16-year-old twins Max and Emme. Ben Affleck shares three children with Jennifer Garner, who he was married to from 2005 to 2018, and when Affleck and Lopez married, they created a blended family of sorts, and it seems as though Lopez is using the bond between their children to keep Ben close.
"On one hand, JLo is telling him he should be spending more time with her," an insider reported, "because the blended family situation is so new, and it's vital that they all get off to a good start following the divorce, and just establish a pattern."

But on the other hand, Jennifer Garner wants her ex-husband to spend time with her and their kids, and according to sources close to Ben, it's what he wants too. "Let's face it, spending time with Jen and their kids is just much more comfortable than trying to do the blended family thing," the source explained. "He's so at ease with her, there's no tension, no pressure, he can totally be himself."
"When push comes to shove he's always going to choose the less stressful route," the source continued. "The fact is he does feel a lot of pressure when he's with JLo there's no sense of ease for him. He would love to get to that place one day, but he is not there now, and he's not going to fake it and that has her blaming Jen, not him."
