Jennifer Lopez Divides Fans With Her 'Good Night And Good Luck' Red Carpet Look
The Shotgun Wedding actress attended the premiere of George Clooney's Broadway debut, Good Night, and Good Luck, on April 3rd, wearing quite an interesting monochrome ensemble.
The ensemble consisted of a skin-tight black velvet Saiid Kobeisy gown with a super-daring plunging front, teamed with a removable voluminous white floor-length cape. She accessorized with a dazzling 1970s onyx and diamond necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels, and onyx and diamond drop earrings by Boucheron.
However, it was the JLo Beauty mogul's highly-dramatic cape which seemed to cause a stir on social media, with many people likening it to a bedsheet.
Internet Reactions
"She took her bedsheets with her I see," quipped one fan on Instagram, followed by a crying laughing emoji. "J-Lo looks like she got up from bed and the bed sheet got stuck to her," echoed a second, also followed by the crying laughing emoji.
"I'd hate to sit behind her!" exclaimed a third, followed by three crying laughing emojis, as a fourth slammed: "She tries too hard! I'm so sick of seeing her." "So desperate," criticized a fifth IG user, as a sixth noted: "Not a fan of the white cape."
As we mentioned previously, not everyone shared the same opinion, as many other fans were obsessed with her red carpet look. "Stunning," praised one fan, followed by a black heart emoji. "Slay queen," raved a second, followed by a fire emoji, as a third said she was "gorgeous," followed by three red heart emojis.
