While winter wardrobes typically lean towards darker, more neutral colors, Jennifer Lopez added a pop of color to her ensemble for a recent dinner celebrating her longtime manager’s birthday. As expected, her bold choice sparked plenty of reactions from critics.
For Benny Medina’s 67th birthday celebration at Novikov, a Mediterranean and Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills, the singer and actress stunned in a glittery, ankle-length dress with billowy ‘peasant’ sleeves. The frock featured a center slit, and the neckline was designed with a black fabric wrapped around, creating a choker effect. See the photos here!
The mother of two completed the look with perspex heels, diamond earrings, and her hair slicked back for a polished finish.
Users took to TMZ‘s Instagram comment section to express their thoughts on her “over-the-top” birthday party outfit.
“She’s trying too hard.”
“Not dazzling, sorry, just wants attention.”
“Over the top dress for your manager’s birthday dinner. That color is unflattering too.”
“All I see is a woman who craves attention.”
Lopez was spotted house hunting earlier that same day, leading fans to question whether she’ll move further away from ex Ben Affleck.
Ben and Lopez have listed their Beverly Hills estate for $68M, but the property has been on the market for nearly six months.
According to new documents obtained by PEOPLE, the former couple will split the final sale price of the house, though the specific amounts and percentages each will receive remain confidential.
TMZ reports that the J.Lo Beauty founder might have found a new place in Brentwood. A source told the outlet that she has her eyes on an off-market home that’s up for $20M.
However, she is concerned about the air quality after the tragic California wildfires. The insider added that if Lopez likes the house enough, she’s willing to seek the advice of an air quality specialist to test the area.
