‘Tis the season for star-studded celebrity holiday festivities! While A-listers like Paris Hilton and the Kardashian clan are renowned for their lavish celebrations, J.Lo has now joined the ranks by hosting her own star-studded bash during this festive season.
The singer, along with her husband Ben Affleck, hosted a Christmas bash at their Los Angeles residence on Saturday, December 16, drawing in celebrity guests such as Margot Robbie and Michael B. Jordan.
She did it with added flair because Lopez is not one to play it safe with her fashion selections. As reported by PEOPLE, J.Lo graced the early part of the evening in a form-fitting red gown and later switched into a strapless sequined dress. A video clip of the singer’s performance in the latter dress has left fans marveling at her timeless beauty. After all, if your holiday celebration doesn’t include a wardrobe change or two, is it really a celebration?
At 54, the actress dazzled in a strapless green dress as she sang classics like “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Jingle Bells,” and other Christmas carols. She sported loose waves with her brunette hair and showcased a radiant bronzed makeup look.
Also present among the guests were Casey Affleck, Jennifer Lewis, Lily Rabe, and Lopez’s longtime manager, Benny Medina. “They threw a really fun party. They were both in such good spirits,” the source told PEOPLE.
When speaking to Variety about her upcoming album and film, “This Is Me… Now,” and putting her relationship back into the spotlight, the ‘On The Floor’ icon said “We both have PTSD. But we’re older now. We’re wiser. We also know what’s important, what’s really important in life, and it’s not so much what other people think. It’s about being true to who you are.”
She concedes that not everyone within her circle initially endorsed the idea of documenting her relationship with husband Ben Affleck in her upcoming projects.
“As artists, we have to follow our heart and this is me following my heart and doing something that maybe everybody didn’t think was the best idea, but I had to do it,” Lopez told Variety.
