Apart from being a multi-talented singer and accomplished actress, Jennifer Lopez (J.Lo) is also a world-renowned style icon, as further proved by her exquisite, monochromatic outfit at The Voice finale last week.

For her performance of “On My Way,” a track featured in her upcoming film, Marry Me (out February 2022) J. Lo donned an elegant, all-white ensemble, composed of a flowing dress with a thigh-high slit, a matching cape and 7-inch, laced platform boots. The dress, designed by Lessja Verlingieri of Lever Couture, features a pleated, mock-turtleneck top and a cascading bottom, allowing Lopez to look like the goddess she is. The high slit paired with the platform boots brings an unexpected but instantly iconic edge to the look that not many could pull off.

Onstage, Lopez sang while walking through a set of arranged pianos while scenes from her new movie, also starring Owen Wilson, were projected. Equipped with a bedazzled microphone and romantic lyrics, Lopez and her esteemed vocals stunned the audience. She was accompanied by Lukas Nelson, son of country music legend, Willie Nelson, on guitar.

Near the end of her performance, Lopez climbed several stairs (in those epic heels) to an elevated platform to meet Nelson. The two harmonized as her shimmering eyeshadow and lip gloss glistened along with her accessories. While Lopez’s singing talents were on full display, her jewelry seized the spotlight as well, with matching, chunky gold rings, a wristlet cuff, and dangly earrings.

Maintaining balance in sky-high boots and covered in a revealing dress seems like an astonishing feat for anyone, especially while feeling the pressure of a live performance. After all— if anyone could gracefully tread around a stage in soaring heels and flowing fabric while hitting ethereal vocal notes simultaneously— it’s J.Lo.
