Caught In A Lie! Dermatologists Respond To Jennifer Lopez’s ‘No Botox’ Claims In The Most Hilarious Way
January 4, 2022 by Maria Pierides
Every single time we look at Jennifer Lopez, we can’t believe that there is a wrinkle free 52-year-old singer and actress staring back at us – especially because she has sworn on countless occasions that she has never had Botox. (Something even professional makeup artists have attested to – most recently Anastasia Beverly Hills CEO and founder, Anastasia Soare, if you cast your minds back to J-Lo’s Instagram video from last month, which saw the makeup guru doing J-Lo’s brows and commenting on her flawless makeup-free skin!)
The “On My Way” singer infamously credits olive oil for her smooth and almost questionably youthful complexion, as well as things like a healthy diet, a strict exercise regime, and of course, products from her JLo Beauty line. Yes, really! However, fans have been sceptical for years, wondering if perhaps the “In The Morning” singer isn’t telling them everything, and is holding out on a vital bit of information. Is it Botox? Is it fillers, professional peels, laser treatments, or a combination of all four? Who knows?! And now, rather hilariously, dermatologists and plastic surgeons have started to weigh in. And let’s just say that we are here for their comments and reactions!
Famous plastic surgeon Charles S. Lee, who runs the popular and ever-informative @drlee90210 TikTok page and regularly speculates over what procedures he thinks celebs may have had done, had the most hilarious reaction. When comparing two pictures of Lopez (one which shows her looking more natural with visible wrinkles on her forehead, and the other which shows her with the flawless and wrinkle-free face we see today) he simply mimed to the viral TikTok sound, “Boy I’m Finna Tell On You.” And it might be the best thing we will see all week!
The pictures in Lee’s TikTok video were from a YouTube video entitled, “JLo Denies Botox, Claims it’s Olive Oil – WTF the Truth,” but there are also many other before and after pictures around that support the theory that J-Lo may be lying to us. Or perhaps, not telling us the *whole* truth.
