Jennifer Lopez may have just accidentally revealed her real skin texture with the world! The 53-year-old Shotgun Wedding actress’s real skin may have been exposed in a TikTok video she filmed to promote a new sports drink (does she *ever* stop working?!) due to a small but very noticeable glitch in the filter she was using. And eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot it!

Fans Spot Jennifer Lopez’s Real Skin Texture Thanks To TikTok GlitchThe advert the Marry Me actress filmed shows her wearing a Barbiecore pink top while holding the Bodyarmor sports drink and saying, “Tell me you go to the gym without telling me you go to the gym. I’ll go first.” Her phone camera appears to be very close to her face, but she then leans in even closer for a brief millisecond, which is when the filter she appears to be using stops working, which then causes her to immediately step back so the filter works again.
She can then be seen showing off her toned and enviable body as the camera pans out and flexing her insane arm muscles! Wow! However, it wasn’t her body that got the most attention, especially in a separate TikTok video posted by an account called @needthedeets, which shows just the beginning of the advert in more zoomed in detail to highlight her real skin exposed by the glitch. The video is captioned: “Wait for the filter to fall off to see J-Lo’s real skin texture.” And as expected, there was a *lot* of talk in the comments section!
“She snapped back real quick once she realized,” one fan wrote in the comments, which another echoed, writing, “The way she jumps back when she realized.” While many, *many* fans still praised her for looking “flawless” without the filter, a few others thought it was “wrong” of her to use them because she claims her smooth skin is down to things like her JLo Beauty range. “Y’all she sells skincare of course it’s wrong to use filters,” said another fan.
“She’s selling this perfect skin and it’s filtered to blur the skin to make it look younger. She’s telling a half-truth,” added another, while another referenced the fact that J-Lo has also been crediting olive oil for her flawless skin for years, saying, “When she tells everyone it’s olive oil and it’s really a filter,” followed by an eye rolling emoji and a crying laughing emoji. “It’s olive oil,” agreed another, followed by the same crying laughing emoji.
However, we don’t know just how much J-Lo wants to actually hide her real skin from her fans, as there were two versions of the ad on TikTok and Instagram, both with a filter and without a filter; and we can’t imagine J-Lo would have signed off on the unfiltered version being shown if she had something to hide. To quote some of the more positive fan comments, “she still looks amazing” and “she’s beautiful!”
