Apparently, when the Gone Girl actor does respond, it's barely more than a courtesy, which the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" singer is not impressed with. This could explain why she is now reluctant to contact him!
"She's stopped leaving messages or texts because he never answers," an insider reportedly told Star, adding: "It's so demeaning and rude."
"Once in a while Ben will get back to her with the bare minimum or a 'like' to one of her questions, but 99.9 percent of the time, it's all being handled by his lawyers or assistants," the insider went on.

It could be a while until the exes are fully out of each other's lives completely, as not only do they still have their unsold Beverly Hills mansion to deal with – albeit through other people – but they also have joint Spider Woman promotion coming up, which the "On the Floor" singer is seemingly dreading.
The Marry Me actress is starring in the upcoming musical thriller Kiss of the Spider Woman, which is scheduled to be released in theaters in October, alongside Diego Luna and Tonatiuh. She plays the part of fictional actress Ingrid Luna, who plays the role of a spider woman who kills her prey with a kiss. Affleck is one of the producers of the 1985 remake, alongside Tom Kirdahy, Greg Yolen, Barry Josephson, and Vindhya Sagar.
“It's driving J-Lo absolutely batty," the source confirmed about the upcoming movie promo she will have to do with her ex-husband.
But the exes did somewhat successfully work on promoting Unstoppable together while they were going through their divorce last year, with Affleck even praising J-Lo's "spectacular" acting, so we think they should be able to manage working together again.
