Jennifer Lopez is making headlines for so many reasons right now. Not only is the internet still reeling from her “rude” and “arrogant” behavior at the Met Gala, but fans are also growing more and more concerned about the status of her and Ben Affleck‘s marriage after reports that they are “headed for a divorce” and the 51-year-old Gone Girl actor has “moved out” of their home.
The 54-year-old multihyphenate is also garnering attention for her seemingly shrinking frame, which she addressed on Live with Kelly and Mark earlier this month.
Jennifer Lopez Says She’s The ‘Thinnest’ She’s Ever Been
The “On The Floor” hitmaker has always had an enviable hourglass figure, which she has said on several occasions over the years is something she works incredibly hard on. But she told Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that she has taken things even further while filming Kiss of the Spider Woman, resulting in her being thinner than ever!
“I just finished a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman, where it was all singing and dancing, which was equal parts exhilarating and exhausting as well,” the JLo Beauty mogul confessed, in reference to the movie based on the 1976 Manuel Puig novel of the same name.
For what it’s worth, the Broadway production of the musical won seven Tony awards, with the late William Hurt winning the ‘Best Actor’ Oscar back in 1986 for the film adaptation. Seems like J-Lo wants this to be another award-winning performance based on how hard she worked on it!
The Delola founder went on to say that the movie seems to have come at the best time, as it's great training for her greatest hits tour that kicks off in Orlando next month!
"Now, I'm ready to go. I'm the thinnest I've ever been. I'm in fighting shape right now," she told the married couple. The Marry Me actress went on to talk about how being on tour is also going to be an epic workout for her, adding: "It's moving your body, constantly moving your body, it's traveling, it's doing two hours of exertion every night... it's a time when I get, like, in a really good kind of healthy shape."
