2024 is going to be an exciting year for every Jennifer Lopez fan in the world, as the 54-year-old multi-hyphenate confirmed that a brand new album and an accompanying movie will be landing on February 16th, 2023.
J-Lo first teased fans with the news that This is Me… Now – a follow-up to her This is Me… Then album that was released over 20 years ago – was on its way in November 2022, but didn’t give any more info about when fans could expect it. As well as confirming the release date for the album, the JLo Beauty mogul also confirmed that This is Me… Now: The Film will also debut on the same day on Amazon Prime Video. We wait forever for a new J-Lo project and then two come along at once! But we aren’t mad about it!

Jennifer Lopez Drops ‘This Is Me… Now: The Film’ Trailer
Those who can’t wait until February will be pleased to know that the singer will be releasing the album’s first single, “Can’t Get Enough,” on January 10th. And we already have the first look at the musical film thanks to a trailer she shared just a few days ago!
J-Lo shared a sneak peek of the musical film, which is described as a narrative-driven reflection on her journey to find love, on her Instagram account on November 27th to whet fans’ appetites. In the trailer, the “On The Floor” singer can be seen throwing love letters into a fire and dancing in a wedding dress, among other things, with her voiceover saying: “When I was a little girl… when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always, ‘in love.'”

Jennifer Lopez Teased 'This Is Me… Now' Album In 2022
Fans have been waiting for this album to drop for over a year, as the "On My Way" singer posted a video to her Instagram account on November 25th, 2022 to tease her fans with the news that the brand new album would be coming.
The teaser video which she posted last year opens with the new Mrs Affleck taking her fans back to her This Is Me… Then days on the 20th anniversary of the album, recreating the soft, blush pink album cover. She is sporting a short, cropped haircut in the new video, covered with a soft pink beanie hat which perfectly matched her romantic yet plunging super mini dress with flutter sleeves, staring at the camera and saying, "This is me then."
She then takes off her hat and transforms into the long-haired JLo Beauty founder we are more used to seeing with the long locks and glamorous makeup – and far more seductive wardrobe consisting of a low-rise leather skirt and a white cropped corset style top to reveal her super sculpted abs – saying, "This is me now." The video ends with the words, "The musical experience. 2023."
'This Is Me… Now' Track List
The Shotgun Wedding actress dutifully dropped the track list for her This Is Me… Now album on the Instagram caption too, which is as follows: 1. This Is Me... Now 2. To Be Yours 3. Mad in Love 4. Can't Get Enough 5. Rebound 6. not. going. anywhere. 7. Dear Ben pt. ll 8. Hummingbird 9. Hearts and Flowers 10. Broken Like Me 11. This Time Around 12. Midnight Trip to Vegas 13. Greatest Love Story Never Told.
Fans are almost certain that track 7, i.e., "Dear Ben pt. II" is a follow-up to her 2002 song, "Dear Ben" about husband Ben Affleck. Another track which we think we know the subject of is "Midnight Trip to Vegas," as we are pretty confident it's about her and Ben Affleck's first wedding in Las Vegas! We can't wait to see the lyrics and hear the tracks in full!
What Does J-Lo Say About The Album?
"This album is a philosophy, a reflection, a Zeitgeist moment. It's about hope, faith, and true love never dying," Lopez said in a press release last year. "Heralding a new era of music for Jennifer Lopez, This Is Me… Now chronicles the emotional, spiritual and psychological journey that she has taken over the past two decades," another press release for the album reads.
"An emotionally raw and honest project, unlike any she has produced before, she writes and sings about her life and experiences that will resonate with us all. In addition, these autobiographical stories informed by the album will result in other very personal projects that will be released next year… more to come on that." We cannot wait!
