Affleck and Lopez have made it pretty clear what the state of their marriage is: they're not vacationing together, not living together, not wearing their wedding rings in public, and selling their shared home after just one year of marriage. Now, this doesn't ensure divorce, but coupled with reports close to the couple of "strain" in their marriage, it seems almost certain. "Ben and Jen don't want to get divorced," one source said. "They are saying they won't, but their relationship is simply not working at this point. They aren't done yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy."
Another source told People in May that their marriage "is not in the best place at the moment," and neither of them appear to be doing anything to curb the rumors, especially now that both of them have publicly showed off wedding ring-less fingers. So what happens next?

While Ben Affleck will probably take some time off from the dating world and focus on his career and his kids, Jennifer Lopez is more likely to get back out there. Though she did cancel her This Is Me...Now tour to supposedly focus on her family, so perhaps that's what her future holds. One source close to the singer weighed in: "It has been really hard for her," they said, speaking of the strain in her marriage. "She is trying to figure out her next act."
The source continued, saying that the Hustlers actress is having a hard time keeping up with "being JLo," and that it's taken a toll not only on her own mental health, but those around her, like her husband Ben Affleck. Perhaps that's something playing into their unhappiness? "They can't get one the same page," the insider described, adding that they "have been discussing divorce as an option." Looks like we'll just have to wait and see what unfolds.
