This Is Me…Now: A Love Story
“This Is Me…Now: A Love Story” released on Feb. 16th to Prime Video, and while some fans are intrigued by it, others are just plain confused. The main source of confusion is the genre—in that there doesn’t seem to be one. It could be an action movie, a rom-com, a comedy, or even a science-fiction flick.
While it’s clear that JLo’s love life is the glue holding it all together, we’re just not sure what “it all” is. A press release describes it as, “A narrative-driven, intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly entertaining musical and visual reimagining of her publicly scrutinized love life,” and while that certainly uses a lot of descriptive adjectives, we’re still unclear what the *point* of the movie is.

Fans Are Not Impressed By New JLo Movie
JLo posted clips of This Is Me…Now: A Love Story to her Instagram account, where she sports over 250M followers. The posts have amassed thousands of comments from fans giving their thoughts on the movie, but unfortunately for the actress, fans aren’t very impressed. “I’m confused,” wrote one user.
“Omg,” one fan said. “I DON’T USUALLY SAY THE WORD CRINGE BUT I CAN’T THINK OF ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY!”
“Anyone else confused as to what this is?” another person asked.
“This is JLo’s downfall,” said another user.
