Jennifer Lopez is facing criticism once again for a fashion misstep.
At the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of her movie Unstoppable on September 6th, the singer and actress showed up at the red carpet in a bold Tamara Ralph disco-ball dress featuring daring side cutouts held together by black bows.
Needless to say, it was a risky ensemble that had everyone wondering how she avoided a wardrobe malfunction!
While some fans thought it was the perfect revenge dress, others were less impressed, calling the outfit ‘tacky’ and one of her worst fashion moments. Yikes!

Jennifer Lopez Shows Off Her Stomach In A Casual Denim Look
Just a day before the Unstoppable premiere, Ben Affleck’s ex-wife was seen treating herself to a spa day and touring a $27M Beverly Hills mansion.
The 55-year-old’s outfit that day was fairly simple—a blue cardigan, white crop top, and denim flare jeans—but it still sparked debate, with some people claiming it wasn’t age-appropriate.
Some of the comments included:
"What women at her age have a belly shirt. Looks so silly."
"Dresses like teenager."
"This is a woman who is in her 50s wanting to be in her 20s again!!! Give it a rest. Dress your age."
However, J.Lo doesn’t seem too bothered by the criticism of her outfits.
Chatting with PEOPLE at the Unstoppable premiere, she revealed that her disco-ball dress was almost a no-go. "There was a discussion about whether I should or shouldn't [wear it]," she shared. In the end, she laughed it off and confidently rocked the look!
