Jessica Alba Fans Are Blown Away By Her Glam Red Carpet Appearance: ‘How Do You Look So Young’
November 18, 2022 by Maria Pierides
Jessica Alba clearly has some of the best genes in Hollywood, as fans couldn’t help but obsess over her stunning – and seemingly ageless – red carpet appearance when she attended Flaunt Magazine‘s party at The Aster’s Member’s Club and Hotel in LA on Wednesday, November 9th, in celebration of its autumn issue for which she is the cover star.
On the red carpet, the 41-year-old actress wore a stunning Quantum mini dress from the Harbison Spring 2023 collection, featuring glamorous gold buttons of different shapes and sizes in the middle.
The Dark Angel alum accessorized her chic yet playful look with some dark tights and Giuseppe Zanotti platform Betty pumps, while her newly-dark hair was styled in a bouncy, voluminous, curly down do. But it was her glowing face that got the most attention on social media, as her fans were almost in disbelief over how youthful she looked on the red carpet. Sure, magazine images can be expertly shot with excellent lighting and also edited (just ask the Kardashians!) but a red carpet seldom lies, hence why her fans were desperate to know her secrets!
“Are you a vampire? Just asking,” one fan wrote, in reference to Jessica’s ageless appearance, while another was a little more direct, asking, “How do you look so young?” We’ll let you know if the Honest Beauty founder directly answers the fan and spills some of her secrets! “You don’t age you are getting younger!” exclaimed another stan, followed by a hand praising emoji. “Girl you look so young,” raved another, followed by a heart on fire emoji and a face with hearts emoji. “She looks so young omg,” another fan added.
It wasn’t just her ageless appearance that fans raved about, as they also praised the Sin City star‘s new dark locks as well as her stunning, glowing face. “Gorgeous brunette,” praised another fan. “I’m so obsessed with your look! Gorgeous!” exclaimed another. “Loving the long dark hair. Beautiful Family you have,” commented another fan.

The Fantastic Four actress is on the cover of the magazine’s autumn issue, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that she looks breathtaking in the cover and accompanying editorial images too! On the cover image, shot by Jonny Marlow, Jessica is wearing a racy Rodarte dress teamed with a Gladys Tamez Millinery cowboy hat and a Ben Bridge necklace and earrings, while in another, she is rocking a Barbiecore-inspired Valentino dress, teamed with a Valentino shirt and shoes, as well as Ben Bridge earrings and rings.
Jessica covered many topics in the interview, but one of the key moments was when she reflected on the early days in her career, in particular how she had an “aggressive mindset” to try and stop others from taking advantage of her. “It was probably my way to defend myself against predators, being a young woman and knowing that people at any moment can take advantage of you,” she recalled. “It doesn’t even matter that it’s Hollywood, it’s anywhere in society, but with the layer of Hollywood on top of that, it bred really toxic masculinity and toxic behavior. I think my defense to that was to get out in front of it and be more aggressive so that they wouldn’t even try. I think that was me being disconnected from my feminine, and me feeling like I was compromising myself, and I think a lot of my interviews are reflective of that.”
Jessica Talks About The Honest Company And Hollywood Beauty StandardsNaturally Jessica also touched on The Honest Company, telling the magazine how launching it in 2012 helped her find her purpose! “I was craving a deeper connection with myself and the world around me,” she explained. “It took me three years to have this idea turn into a start-up company. It took another 10 years for it to turn into a legitimate business that is in the world.”
She then went on to praise the older actresses she finds inspiring, while briefly touching on the double standards men and women in Hollywood face, not just in terms of their appearance, but in terms of their dating lives too. “Obviously, we get better as we get older, but we live in a society that brainwashes us through imagery and media and storytelling. Thank God for Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts and Reese Witherspoon and Halle Berry and Jennifer Lopez and all the incredible women who are still in entertainment and working, but how many times do you have a 50-year-old guy with a 20/25 year old woman in stories?” she asked.
“If we keep doing that, then that’s how people will be getting set up with ideas on how to look in order to be the one that people are desiring. This goes back to the old age of Hollywood. It’s always been like this. It brainwashes you to think that this is the only way to really own your power as a desirable, sensual, full woman.”
