Jessica Biel Seen Filming Scenes For The Better Sister Without Her Wedding Ring Following Justin Timberlake's DWI Arrest
Following the circulation of paparazzi photos capturing the 7th Heaven actress, 42, on the set of her upcoming Amazon series, a flurry of speculation erupted on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit.
Many users theorized about a possible divorce or separation. However, shortly after these ringless images went viral, Biel was seen attending Timberlake's concert at Madison Square Garden on June 26th, wearing her wedding ring and enthusiastically supporting her husband.
The Biel sighting was captured in a video posted on Instagram by The Real Housewives of New York City star Jessel Taank. Taank, 44, attended the concert with fellow cast member Ubah Hassan and shared a clip of the Emmy winner enjoying her hubby's performance.
In the video, Biel can be seen standing by a table with a group of people, subtly dancing to the "Cry Me A River" crooner while sipping her drink.
On June 18th, Timberlake (who shares sons Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, with Biel) found himself in a bit of a jam. According to a tip-off to People, the “Rock Your Body” hitmaker was driving from the American Hotel to visit a friend when the flashing lights of a police car pulled him over in Sag Harbor, New York.
By 11 a.m. local time, the pop star had already faced the judge for his arraignment, but this isn't the end of his legal woes—he's got a date with the courtroom on Friday, July 26th to address that DWI charge.
According to insiders who spoke with Us Weekly, Biel was deeply distraught, "extremely upset" and shocked upon learning about her husband's arrest.
They also dished that Timberlake allegedly told Biel he was "barely drinking." His attorney has made it clear that they're gearing up for a battle, telling TMZ he intends to defend the Timberlake "vigorously" with unwavering determination.
In the forthcoming project The Better Sister, Biel (seen filming above) steps into the shoes of Chloe, a woman who finds herself reconnecting with her estranged sister under tragic circumstances. Chloe's husband," Adam, is killed, according to the series synopsis, sending shockwaves through the family as the main suspect's identity unearths hidden secrets from their past.
This gripping thriller, adapted from Alafair Burke's novel, marks Biel's return to television after her role in Candy. In that 2022 Hulu limited series, she portrayed the notorious axe murderer Candy Montgomery, who was responsible for the death of her neighbor, Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey).
