For the feature, the 48-year-old opened up about many different subjects, including her insecurities and her tough childhood.
When asked how she fights insecurities, she said, “It’s very normal to have them, and I can’t get rid of them because an actress has to be vulnerable. So, I simply accept them, although I don’t allow them to control me. I accept that I’m a shy person. But I try to focus on my qualities. Especially those that have nothing to do with my physical appearance, because sooner or later, those disappear.”
She also mentioned the women in her life and how they experienced tough challenges. “Being raised by single mothers, living in extreme situations where we often didn’t even have enough to eat or faced eviction. I remember the feeling of being invisible, of feeling like society didn’t see us, as if our lives didn’t matter. I couldn’t accept how my grandmother was treated, the burdens and responsibilities placed on her without anyone acknowledging her.”
