All eyes were on Jessica Chastain when she floated along the 94th Academy Awards red carpet at the Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood and Highland Center on Sunday, March 27th, wearing the most stunning ombré Gucci gown we have *ever* seen!

The 45-year-old The Eyes of Tammy Faye actress has been playing it somewhat safe on the awards-season red carpet this year, but it’s clear to see that she saved the best look ’til last, flaunting her incredible figure in the show-stopping, one-of-a-kind design that featured a racy plunging front and sequin embellishments all over! It was the perfect piece for an Oscar-nominee – some might even say, hot favorite – to wear, and we were speechless when we saw her for the first time!

Jessica’s mesmerizing Oscars dress featured a stunning rose gold plunging top, which then graduated into a romantic purple hue, and then finished off with a dramatic ruffle hem. The actress – who has also been nominated for two other Oscars in the past; ‘Best Supporting Actress’ in The Help back in 2011 and ‘Best Actress’ in Zero Dark Thirty the year after – accessorized her Gucci masterpiece with gold Stuart Weitzman platforms, and jewelry from Hortus Deliciarum, Gucci’s High Jewelry collection, and she styled her hair in a high ponytail. We’re beyond grateful that the top half of the dress didn’t get distracted by hair or jewelry; the ponytail and lack of a necklace was the perfect styling decision!

Chastain wasn’t just a red carpet winner, as she was a literal Oscar winner, beating stiff competition from Nicole Kidman (Being the Ricardos), Penélope Cruz (Parallel Mothers), Kristen Stewart (Spencer), and Olivia Colman (The Lost Daughter) to win the highly-coveted ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ award for her remarkable portrayal of televangelist and queer icon Tammy Faye Bakker. She also took home the SAG Award and the Critics’ Choice Award for the same category earlier this year.
