Jessica Chastain Wears Versace To Zurich Film Festival
Jessica arrived to the event in a rich brown-colored gown while attending the festival show alongside her Memory director, Michel Franco. The ensemble featured a pleated design and black rhinestones trickled to one side of the dess. It was finished with a scarf draped down to the floor from her shoulder which gave the gown an ethereal look.
She swept her copper locks back in a half-up, half-down style and complemented her look with dangling earrings and a shade of pink on her lips.
The 46-year-old Academy Award-winning icon even received the prestigious Golden Icon Award during the event held in Switzerland.
But she didn't manage to impress fashion enthusiasts, who had quite a lot of opinions about her ensemble for the star-studded night.
One fan commented, "She could never look bad, but somehow, her stylist has been putting her in more old-fashioned silhouettes lately (the custom Gucci from a week ago). It's very prom queen-y."
Another user said, "What's going on? This feels dated."
While another chimed in, "I feel like Jessica Chastain just constantly looks like she’s going to prom, over and over."
One fan bluntly said, "Ok…. That’s her first mistake ever." Ouch!
Jessica Chastain Rocks Custom Gucci For Memory Premiere
Only a few weeks ago during the San Sebastian Film Festival, Jessica turned heads in a dazzling Gucci gown covered in sequins from head to toe.
The gown boasted a sweetheart neckline, similar to her Versace dress, and a daring thigh-high slit that beautifully showcased her lengthy legs.
However, fans seemed to prefer this ensemble a little bit more, even though it shared a similar structure with her chocolate-colored Versace dress.
One user wrote, "She is the best dressed actress i've seen in the last couple years, always so chic, gorgeous & beautiful..i love her & her style."
Another fan wrote, "It's giving Mirrorball vibes."
One fan noted, "GORGEOUS and everything in-between."
Another user commented, "I'm not a fan of the sweetheart neckline it's very old-fashioned but the colors here suit her."
