(She and Johnson are also parents to five-year-old daughter Birdie.)

Jessica Simpson Opens Up About Going Under The Knife After 'Gaining So Much Weight' During Her First Two Pregnancies
In a resurfaced interview with Entertainment Tonight, the Jessica Simpson Collection designer spoke about her decision to go under the knife after gaining "so much weight" during her first two pregnancies.
"That was after I lost a ton of weight, and I had skin and stretch marks because I had two babies back-to-back, 14 months apart," she explained.
However, the surgery wasn't without complications. The "I Wanna Love You Forever" singer admitted in her memoir that her doctor initially advised against the procedure due to her alcohol consumption, warning her: "You could die."
Despite this warning, Simpson went ahead with the surgery, only to find herself unhappy with the results. She then underwent a second, more invasive procedure, which led to serious health complications…

Jessica Simpson Details The Risks And Complications Of Her Surgery
"There was a sense that something was going to go wrong from the get-go, even though I stopped drinking to prepare," the "Take My Breath Away" artist wrote in her memoir. "The day of the surgery, Eric was puking his guts out because he was so nervous," she recalled.
"The surgery took two hours longer than planned… It did not go well," Simpson confessed. "I got an infection – colitis – and was vomiting so much I thought I was going to bust my sutures. My mom and Eric were so worried. They had to rush me to Cedars, and I secretly stayed there for nine days. Doctors talked seriously about me needing a blood transfusion."
Simpson admitted that the experience was emotionally difficult for both her and her husband, writing: "The experience wasn't just tough on me – it was so hard on Eric, who was convinced he should have talked me out of going through with the surgery."
She went on to say that her husband was always supportive of her, even when she couldn't see herself the same way, writing: "Eric loved me at any size or shape, even if I couldn't."
