Those Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson divorce rumors are intensifying every day, with the latest reports now hinting that the married couple are also in a huge amount of debt!
According to reports, the 44-year-old Dukes of Hazzard alum and the 45-year-old former NFL tight end have an enormous debt totaling $22M, which could very well be just one of the reasons for the alleged “tension” in their marriage.

The couple, who have been married since 2014 and share three kids together, have reportedly taken out more than $22M in loans to pay for their luxurious $11.5M home in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.
RadarOnline recently revealed that the couple have four mortgages on their eight bedroom and 13 bathroom 13,274-square-foot home, which previously belonged to Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
As per RadarOnline: "Initially, they secured a $7,336,000 loan, followed by an $8,000,000 mortgage in 2017, both with JP Morgan Chase Bank."
"Additionally, they obtained a third loan of $3,650,000 from Platinum Loan Servicing Inc. and a fourth for $3,045,000 from Bank of Southern California. While the outstanding status of the loans remains undisclosed, records show no defaults by the couple."
Jessica and Eric reportedly listed their home for $22M back in September 2023 as they began spending more time in Nashville, but they removed the listing in August this year.

Jessica and Eric have been facing divorce rumors for quite a few months now, as several sources have claimed that they are spending most of their time apart. They have also both been spotted without their wedding rings recently, which is another sign that there could be a lot of truth in the divorce rumors.
"Jess and Eric very much live separate lives," a source close to the couple told People. Another insider previously told Life & Style: "Jessica hasn’t been wearing her ring, and there are rumors they are on a break."
"Eric has been doing his own thing for longer than anyone seems to know," another insider told Life & Style. "He’s been very vocal about how difficult it is to live with someone so obsessed with surgery and so detached from reality most of the time."
Another source reportedly told US Weekly that there *is* truth in those split rumors, and the couple are "trying to figure out a separation without disrupting their kids’ lives as much as possible," in reference to daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie Mae, 5, and son Ace, 11.
