Jessica Simpson Looks Radiant In A Sequined Halter Dress From Her Clothing Line Amid 'Painful' Eric Johnson Divorce

The "Irresistible" singer and former NFL player, 45, tied the knot in July 2014 after dating for four years. Simpson and Johnson share three kids, including daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, 5, and son Ace, 11. In an exclusive statement made to People this week, Simpson said: "Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage."

She went on: ""Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family." In recent months, speculation about a possible split between Simpson and Johnson circulated, especially after the "With You" artist was frequently spotted without her wedding ring and attended various events solo, without Johnson by her side.  

In November 2024, Johnson was also seen without his wedding ring. Coincidentally, around that period, Simpson hinted at her return to music with a mysterious Instagram post showcasing pictures of her in a recording studio. She wrote at the time: "Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic."
