Jimmy Kimmel’s first show following his extended summer break went off with a bang, as the 54-year-old comedian wasted no time in slamming Donald Trump and the terrible last few months the former POTUS has had!

“Trump is in serious legal trouble,” Kimmel said on his late night show on Tuesday, September 6th, while presenting a comedic slideshow of Trump’s “terrible” summer, in particular, the infamous raid on the 76-year-old former president’s Mar-a-Lago resort last month.

“I’ve been trying to understand how he could possibly think he had the right to take all those documents to his house. It’s weird that a person who barely reads would even want documents. It’s like finding out your dog collects stamps,” Kimmel joked, before going on to say that he doesn’t believe Trump when he said that he declassified the documents.

“Trump keeps claiming he declassified the documents, which first of all, he didn’t,” the comedian continued. “Second of all, even if he had, which he didn’t, that’s even more crazy. That’s like finding your wife in bed with another guy and she’s like, ‘It’s OK, I took my ring off first.'”

"Mar-a-Lardo did score a victory yesterday," he added. "A judge that he appointed granted his request to assign a special master to review the documents and put the investigation on hold. Who the special master will be, we do not know, maybe they can get Eric to do it? He’s special right?"

Kimmel then went into more detail about the classified documents that were found at the Mar-a-Lago resort, in particular how investigators reportedly found nuclear documents hidden in the storage closet "next to a bag of golf keys, a box of old pool noodles, and Melania, who was hiding in there."

"And of course Trump and his minions are still trying to pretend this isn’t a big deal, but it is a big deal," Kimmel added. "He took top secret documents from the White House, had them sitting in a room where workers regularly went in and out – they would’ve been more secure inside the claw machine at Dave & Buster’s. This is the presidential version of when a cop leaves his gun on the toilet at a Wendy’s."

"These nuclear secrets could’ve been stolen by foreign agents. They could’ve been posted on the internet, Eric could’ve eaten them, we don’t know."
