Joe Biden 'Promises' Donald Trump Won't Accept 2024 Election Results
It's not a secret that Donald Trump believes he should've won the 2020 presidential election. As did many of his supporters, who even attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C., believing election fraud had occurred and that Trump was the rightful president.
Trump has said numerous times that he doesn't accept the results of the 2020 election, and has recently doubled down on his stance in an interview with NBC affiliate WGAL. "No, it would've been a terrible thing," he said when asked if he thinks he should have accepted the results.
Joe Biden, in a recent interview on CNN, said that the American people should expect history to repeat itself. "He may not accept the outcome of the election?" Biden said. "I promise you he won't," even adding that the 77-year-old is "dangerous."
Donald Trump Admits He May React With Violence If He Loses 2024 Election
Joe Biden's claims aren't unfounded, either. Last month Donald Trump was interviewed for Time magazine, and the interviewer asked him about the possibility of political violence if he loses the election.
"I think we're going to win," Trump said. The reporter then asked him, "What if you don't win, sir?"
Which is when Trump shockingly responded, "If we don't win, you know, it depends. It always depends on the fairness of an election." This isn't the first time that Trump has hinted at using violence. Last year, he wrote on his Truth Social account (a Twitter-like site that Trump has to use because he was banned from Twitter due to his incitement of violence) that if he was found guilty of any of the four criminal indictments he's been facing, there would be "death & destruction." A terrifying statement from a potential presidential candidate.
