Johnny Depp just came back from a sunny vacation to the Bahamas, and seems to have made some friends. In a clip uploaded to Instagram by bartender Rap Rap Zoilo, Depp can be smiling with a tropical-looking drink in his hand, although that’s not what fans were paying attention do. As the actor, 61, smiles, a full set of much healthier looking pearly whites can be seen, a relief to fans who have expressed concern for Depp’s teeth, which have been described as “rotting.” Keep reading for more information.
Johnny Depp Shows Off Dental Work
Last year at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Depp's not-so-healthy looking teeth were a hot topic of conversation. While he was there to promote his film Jeanne du Barry, the movie didn't get nearly as much attention as his teeth, which looked discolored and damaged.
However, in Rap Rap Zoilo's video, which he uploaded to Instagram under the handle @KillerBartender, shows a much healthier looking set of teeth. He captioned the post, "jacksparrow meets the killerbartender of exuma bahamas ... once in a lifetime moments with mr jonhny Depp," and in it, Depp can be seen acknowledging a painting of his character, Captain Jack Sparrow, greeting people in the bar, and then stepping behind the bar to mix a drink with the bartender, smiling the whole time.
Fans Are Relieved Johnny Is 'Happy & Healthy'
In the comment section of @KillerBartender's post, fans expressed their relief at Depp's healthier looking teeth. "He looks so happy and healthy!" one person wrote. "LOOK he got his teeth fixed!"
