Julia Fox and Kanye West have been entangled in a whirlwind romance since the beginning of this year, but before they found each other, both Ye and Fox were involved in other high profile relationships. West’s relationship history is common knowledge (hi Kim!) but Fox’s former flames are much less frequently discussed, spanning from NYC club owner Teddy Perweiler to baby daddy, Peter Artemiev. However, there’s one ex of Fox’s that may be a point of contention for Ye: Drake.

West and the 35-year-old rapper have maintained a heated feud over the last several years, but before the Uncut Gems actress was ever involved with her current beau, she had a quick and sizzling relationship with his most prominent rival in the rap music industry. According to Page Six, Drake reached out to Fox via Instagram DM after her appearance in the 2019 film.
At the time, the publication reported, Fox was still involved with baby daddy, Artemiev, but when the pair initially split the actress reached back out to Drake and they met up for drinks before engaging in a romantic globetrotting relationship which saw Fox receiving a Birkin bag from the rapper for Valentine’s Day.

The actress ended up reuniting with her ex, but the fling with Drake was notable enough for Ye to feel “not thrilled,” according to Page Six. However, after her second reunion with Artemiev, she did not go back to Drake, but rather started up the relationship with West.
The beef between West and Drake is entirely career-based, with the Canadian-born ‘Hotline Bling’ rapper once telling Source, “My goal is to surpass everything he’s accomplished.” Back in 2018 it was also revealed by rapper Pusha T that Drake was the father of a child named Adonis that he was allegedly keeping a secret, to which Drake claimed that it was West who told Pusha T of his son. Either way it seems like Fox has made her choice after calling West her “favorite makeup artist.” Romantic.
