Julia Roberts, 56, Looks Chic In A Black Pantsuit And A Flashy Necklace While In Paris For Lancôme

The new commercial for Lancôme’s La Vie est Belle L’Elixir fragrance has just landed – and Julia Roberts shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the ad with her fans in celebration!

The 56-year-old ageless Oscar-winning actress treated her 12.6M Instagram followers to a behind-the-scenes picture from the shoot on September 3rd, with the caption: “Strolling French rooftops with the incredible Damien Chazelle and a luxury hot water bottle. BTS for @lancomeofficial”

In the behind-the-scenes picture, the After the Hunt actress is standing with La La Land director Damien Chazelle, who directed the Lancôme commercial, with the iconic Eiffel Tower in the background.

The Erin Brockovich star was wearing a chic pantsuit consisting of black flared trousers and a longline black blazer, which was worn open to reveal a casual white T-shirt underneath.

She accessorized with a fabulous statement necklace, while her glossy brunette locks were worn in a center-parted slightly wavy down do.

The storyline of the commercial shows the My Best Friend’s Wedding actress walking into an elevator wearing a spectacular black and pink ballgown, en route to a party. However, she then wants to escape the party crowd and ends up on a rooftop in a brand new outfit – i.e., the monochrome pantsuit look.

According to a press release from Lancôme, the commercial “captures Julia Roberts in a beautifully poetic, defining moment, as she chooses her own path over others’ expectations.”

The press release added: “With time magically suspended, Chazelle’s cinematic lens pictures the actress as she gazes out over Paris from the top of the Arc de Triomphe and experiences the exhilaration that comes with being the author of her own story.”
