Julianne Hough absolutely stunned in a vintage Yves Saint Laurent gown and we (along with her 5 million Instagram followers) can’t get enough of this gorgeous look! The Dancing With The Stars alum, 33, donned a strapless, flowy Haute Couture dress and revealed in her IG caption that she acquired it from Shrimpton Couture. The Broadway star graced the Robin Hood charity fundraiser in New York City last week and posed in this gown for an exquisite street-side photo shoot (and no, we’re still not over this ensemble!)
The breathtaking garment features a strapless cut, cinched top and waist, with an elegant, flowing skirt. Hough’s dress was made with hand-stitched black silk netting and silver thread that forms a timeless diamond pattern. The Footloose actress looked as if she had stepped out of a time machine from another era, and thanked her glam team in her post caption. “Having a NYC moment in this Vintage 1981 Haute Couture YSL,” she wrote with a black heart emoji. The triple threat shared 6 breathtaking shots from her photo shoot across two posts, and also included some behind-the-scenes pics of her applying lipstick and getting ready.
Hough gave fans a full-body look at her glamorous get-up, which was complete with black peep-toe heels and a chic black clutch with pearl detailing. She matched this with pearl stud earrings and tied her long, blonde tresses into a chic updo, drawing more attention to her incredible makeup look. Hough rocked a bold red lip, glittery silver eyeshadow, classic black eyeliner and voluminous lashes for the event, enhancing her already beautiful features. All we can say is w-o-w!
Fans, of course, began commenting on both posts in approval, and she garnered thousands of likes. “Seriously you always outdo yourself with your outfits” wrote one fan, emphasizing how Hough’s style continually impresses. “Gorgeous!!!” added another with heart-eye and fire emojis. “This is SPECTACULAR on you!” wrote the account of Shrimpton Couture (where she picked up this iconic find), “Yves would have loved to see you wear his couture so beautifully.” We couldn’t agree more.
