Has Julianne Hough Had Botox And Fillers?
Pictures of the Grease Live! actress from earlier this year compared to slightly older ones have caused fans to wonder whether she has had non-invasive treatments such as Botox and lip fillers, as her lips were looking bigger than ever! Her cheeks were also looking a lot plumper (which we guess makes a nice change from the celebs who appear to be getting buccal fat removal surgery!) which also led some fans to think she has had some treatment there too.
Although Julianne herself hasn’t admitted to getting any work done, some alleged insiders have spoken out in the past. Back in 2021, Ok! and Star quoted alleged insiders who claimed that her friends and family were beginning to become concerned about the lip fillers Julianne recently had, with one alleged insider claiming to Ok!: "It looks like Julianne had fillers injected in both lips, but she clearly got carried away. She was such a pretty girl already and her lips looked fine to her friends and family."
Interestingly, the report came amid her divorce from Brooks Laich, with the insider saying, "she’s obviously having fun experimenting and trying things out. Still, to many of her loved ones, it feels like she’s gone totally overboard to the point where she’s almost unrecognizable."
Julianne Hough Plastic Surgery Speculation
The Footloose star's appearance did indeed start to change around 2021, with a picture she posted in March 2021 getting a lot of attention. "Doesn’t even look like her," one fan commented, while another said "I didn’t recognize you." Another fan said, "Despite the unnecessary cosmetic surgery in your lips I truly consider you the most beautiful woman in the world," while another begged. "Please let your lips go back to your normal. Have some removed. You don’t have to change for or because of anyone. You are perfect the way that you were."
"I would never have guessed this was Julianne Hough," another fan commented, followed by two teary-eyed emojis. "Why and what did you do?" they added. "Disappointed you changed what was a beautiful face. Can it be removed?" asked another fan, while another said, "What happened to her? She used to be beautiful." "You were amazing and gorgeous! The new look with the long brown hair and puffy lips makes you unrecognizable. Not a good look for you at all. You messed up big time! So sad," wrote another fan, followed by a crying emoji. "You were so beautiful what have you done? The hair (not so bad) BUT those lips no no no," said another.
The plastic surgery speculation continued one year later, as a picture the Safe Haven actress posted in April 2022 made fans believe she had even more lip fillers due to an even plumper pout, which caused some fans to call her "unrecognizable."
"Wow you look so different, what has changed?" asked one fan. "Anyone else not recognize her? Looks so different," commented another fan, which another fan directly replied to, saying, "I didn’t recognize her either." Another said: "Don't know why she changed her face she was beautiful before." "Looks like @juleshough had some work done," someone else bluntly commented, while another fan asked: "Is that Botox in your lips or just a lip gloss making then bigger?"
What Has Julianne Hough Said About Cosmetic Procedures?
At the time of writing, the Rock of Ages star has still yet to confess to having any surgical or non-surgical work done, although she *has* previously opened up about her skincare routine, crediting wearing less makeup and wearing more moisturizer as one of the reasons for the change.
"I used to wear a lot of makeup, and bake and contour with full glam, but my whole thing now is less is more," she told PopSugar back in April 2016. "The less you have, the more you can see your actual skin, and I really love that. It’s refreshing," she added.
"When my skin gets very dry, I give it extra moisturizing love around the clock," the new DWTS co-host previously wrote on her dance and fitness platform Kingry's website. "At night, I’ll slather on a heavy cream and during the day I’ll use a less thick (but still protective) moisturizer. In addition, I’ll gently exfoliate 1-2 times a week to remove dead or flaky skin." And interestingly, she recommended that fans "skip the fragrance" if they want to "avoid breakouts," adding, "Our skin needs hydration from the inside out."
